Resolved Question: Should I rent Gears of War 1 before playing the 2nd?

I have heard that the stories link together. Right now, my Xbox 360 has the Red Ring of Death, and is being repaired by Microsoft. Unfortunately for me, I bought Gears 2 and during the time it was being shipped, my Xbox broke. So I am wondering, when my Xbox360 comes back, should I rent Gears 1 and play the story mode before going into Gears 2 (I have never played the first)? Thanks.... Read More »
